Restaurants

TransfersThere is nothing like Mexican food in Mexico. Once you have had real Mexican food, you will realize that Taco Bell never was Mexican food.
The best tip on finding a good Mexican restaurant in a tourist city is to get off of the main strip and find places that cater to the locals. All you need to do is look for restaurants that are full of locals. That tells you that they have good food at good prices.
If, however, you are one of those people afraid of trying new things. Tijuana has Pizza Hut, Burger King, Wendy's (but no Taco Bell).
The Restaurants on Tijuana's main strip (Revolucion Blvd) also serve what they call "International Cuisine" -- Translation = sea food, steak, burgers, and other traditional north of the border dishes.
Below are a few of the more popular places to eat in the tourist zone. However, for those who think they have eaten Mexican food north of the border, you really need to try the real thing.
Avenida Revolución, the main tourist drag, is lined with restaurants catering to the gringos and other foreigners who routinely wander across “la linea” (the border). There is no shortage of medium-priced eateries with English-speaking waiters, laminated menus, and plenty of attitude. For something a cut above, consider the following suggestions.

El Torito Pub: The El Torito Pub serves Mexican food, sea food, have live mariachi music, pool tables, and a mechanical bull.
Revolucion #879
between 2nd & 3rd
Tony Ricardo’s:Tony Recardo's serves a large selection of Mexican food in an American style diner. (as you can see, it was in the process of being painted yellow when this picture was taken)
Madero at 7th
Hard Rock Cafe: Most dishes are under $10.00 USD. As with the other Hard Rock Cafe locations, you have a place to buy T-shirts, guitars and other Rock and Roll memorabilia on the walls, TVs with music videos playing and a bar. They have live bands Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights beginning around 10:00 PM.Revolucion between 1st & 2nd

If you are in Taxco you must visit the different kind of restaurants, and experiment the flavours of one of the most exquisite cooking. The typically food is particularly spicy; most of the plates are cooked using peppers, chilli, onions and hot curry.
One of the recommendation is to prove the exotic food that the different restaurants offer.
Some of the main restaurants are “The Adobe  restaurant”, “  restaurant” and  “The Parroquia”.

The Adobe – Plazuela de San Juan (behind the main square), Taxco, Mexico

The Hacienda- Plaza de La Borda, Agua Escondida Hotel, Taxco Mexico.

Restaurant Cielito Lindo- Plaza Borda No 14, Taxco, Mexico
